Enhancing the Aesthetic Characteristics of the environment by preserving open spaces

The goal of TGO NatureScape (TGON) is to educate central Florida residents and their governing authorities about the importance and benefits of using native plants for the purpose of water savings, water quality, invasive species mitigation and wildlife benefits.

While collaborating with local jurisdictions, native plant specialists and water management districts, we will use 3D landscaping software to develop graphic examples of well-designed environmentally friendly landscapes specific to each community. These graphics will be used to educate the communities about the importance of child and pet friendly plants, plants for attracting birds & butterflies, plants for improving water quality, and use of plants to maintain aquatic shorelines in lieu of spraying herbicides.

These renderings will also be used to get buy-in from the stakeholders as well as for fundraising purposes. We will solicit donations through a commemorative/memorial program designed for donors to fund specific parts of the design to honor their loved ones. We will also host native plant and associated merchandise sales along with applying for applicable grants. Funds collected will be designated to pay for the execution of the specified plan.

These landscape plans will be provided to the communities free of charge. Due to the legal structure of most HOAs and the landscape industry’s approach to planning the procurement and funding for this type of landscape planning is at best very cumbersome and prohibitively expensive.
